Dawn to Sunrise on a Sunday

We often take a lot of things for granted in our lives. And somehow i have been thinking there's much more to life than the run-of-the-mill stuff. I guess The Universe heard me and last Sunday we decided to make a trip to watch the sun in all its glory..

Well, the funniest part of this entire exercise was that, we started almost an hour before the sunrise and we forgot that the marathon was about to start. We went dizzy seeing all the roads blocked and figured that surely there were no more roads to the MARINA.. If all roads lead to Rome, why don't they lead to Marina too?

Just in time we decided to make it to the Elliots Beach, Besant Nagar..

Oh what a sight it was? Never had it occurred to me that everyday we had been missing something so beautiful, so profound and so splendid. The early morning breeze, youngsters meditating, some being put through tough dance warm up sessions by their masters.. Well, there are people who get to see this part of the day often..

I've made a promise to see more sunrises and also to start observing life and enjoying every lil' facet of it.. this is my plea to you.. If you too are almost always caught up in the drudgery of life, then Wake up.. its a clarion call..literally and figuratively.. Ironically, only when you start noticing the simple things in life, do you start appreciating the obvious.. Good Luck!
